The WISTEC up/down converter is an ideal solution in situations when 2.4
GHz is not available because of too much interference. There is a
version where the different frequency bands are used for transmit
and receive modes: e.g. at Base Station the transmit mode is in 5.7
GHz band and the receive mode is in 5.3 GHz band. Accordingly on the
client side the transmit mode is in 5.3 GHz band and the receive mode
is in 5.7 GHz band. It lets increase a number of independent frequency
channels and therefore to increase the capacity of the base station.

-Operating Mode: Bi-directional, half-duplex. Senses RF carrier
from transmitter and automatically switches from receive to transmit
mode.
