This leading edge amplifier is especially designed for use with 2.4 GHz Direct Sequence and Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum radio products. It's recognized as being the amplifier for wireless LAN with the highest performance available today.

This waterproof bi-directional pole mounted amplifier greatly increases operating range by compensating for various cable losses, increases receive range by extremely low own noise level (2.8db) and very high sensitivity, increases transmit range because the high output lever.
AGC (automatic gain control) circuit automatically adjusts the amplifier's gain to provide a constant output/input power in both transmit/receive modes regardless of cable length or type.

The very important parameter determined with 802.11 standard is a level of non-linear distortions (main/side lobe) which in its turn depend greatly on the temperature. The depth of the regulation of AGC of WISTEC amplifier is so effective that allows to keep the signal level deviation within +/- 0.5dB while a temperature range is -50…+50C.
Te ratio main/side lobe is also within the limits allowed by the 802.11 standard.

WISTEC amplifier is powered through the antenna transmission cable using the DC Power Injector, which is located indoor near the radio modem, simplifying installation. Current-sensing circuits provide reliable remote amplifier diagnostics via two indicator LEDs.
